1. Repairs by welding shall be performed by competent welders using low-hydrogen electrodes selected so that the chemical composition of the deposited weld metal is similar to the nominal composition of the base plate.
2. If repair by welding is not acceptable, or if approval of the welding procedure by the purchaser is required, the order shall so specify.
