Cr12 mold steel mechanical properties:
Hardness: annealing , 269 ~ 217HB, indentation diameter 3.7 ~ 4.1mm; quenching , ≥ 60HRC
Heat treatment specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: 1 ) quenching , 950 ~ 1000 ℃ oil cooling ; 2 ) quenching 980 ℃, oil cooling , 180 ℃ tempered 2h.
Microstructure: tempered martensite and retained austenite undissolved carbides .
Delivery status: Delivery of steel in the annealed condition .
Cr12 mold steel Scope:
Cr12 is widely used cold work die steel , high strength , good hardenability and good wear resistance, but poor toughness . Mainly used for small to withstand impact loads requiring high wear Die and punch , cold cut scissors, drill sets , gauge, wire drawing dies , pressure die , thread rolling plate , drawing die and thread rolling die.
Cr12 belong to high-carbon high -chromium ledeburite also widely used cold work die steel This steel has good hardenability, wear resistance, hot workability.
