GB713 12Cr2Mo1R Steel Plates
GB713 12Cr2Mo1R steel is a alloy pressure vessel steel with specified elevated temperature properties. The grades of molybdenum steel (Mo steel) and chromium molybdenum steel (Cr-Mo steel) are denoted by the average carbon content, alloy element letter and the capital letter of Chinese characters “R” pressure vessel (Rong), for instance, 12Cr2Mo1R.
Standard: GB 713-2014
Relative grades: Q245R, Q345R, Q370R, 15CrMoR, 14Cr1MoR, 13MnNiMoR, 12Cr1MoVR
Use: steel plates for boilers and pressure vessels

Generally, GB713 12Cr2Mo1R structural steel products shall be delivered in hot rolling, controlled rolling or normalizing condition.
12Cr2Mo1R steel plates can be delivered by theoretical weight. When delivered by theoretical weight, the theoretical thickness for weight calculation is the sum of permissible maximum thickness of steel plate plus the airthmetic average of the minimum thickness. The 12Cr2Mo1R steel plate density is 7.85g/cm³ for calculations.
