The production capacity of CNC machining depends on several factors, including the type of machine, the complexity of the parts being produced, and the operator's skill level.

Whether it's large parts in the marine, aerospace industries, or small parts in power generation, automobile industries, the automated nature of machining centers provides high repeatability, making it ideal for bulk production of identical components like spur gears.

However, the actual production capacity of a CNC machine will depend on several factors, such as the complexity of the parts being produced, the type of material being used, and the efficiency of the machining process. Therefore, it is best to consult with the manufacturer or operator of the CNC machine to determine its specific production capacity.

The Daily Total Production Capacity

The total production capacity, also known as machine-hour capacity, can be calculated directly for a day. For example, if a manufacturer has 15 CNC machines running continuously for 24 hours, the daily total production capacity would be 360 machine-hours.

A Simple Of Part Production Capacity

It is very easy to be calculated for a simple type of part production capacity. Simply divide the daily total production capacity by the time it takes to produce one part. For instance, if it takes one hour to machine a simple part on a machine, then the production capacity for that part is the daily total production capacity (360 machine-hours) divided by 1, which equals 360 pieces per day.

A Mix Of The Part Production Capacity

It is more complex relative to a simple type of the part. We need to program them on the machine to estimate the production time of each part. Such as we divide the multiple parts into A and B. the A will take 1 hour to the machine; the B will take 0.5 hours to the machine. So the production capacity of A and B are 360 pieces or 720 pieces.
